Luberon - Mont Ventoux - Montagne de Lure


Situated in the Rhone valley and benefiting from the mediterranean climate, the Luberon and its region has kept his exceptionnal natural and cultural heritage. Since 1977, Luberon is part of the worldwide network of biosphere reserves created by the UNESCO as a regional natural park.


The two massifs (little and big) Luberon offers very diverse relief and vegetation. On the little Luberon side, you can find rocky cliffs and ravines that are covered with plants of any type, creating a perfect biotope.

 

The big Luberon is the mountainous part of the Luberon. This part of the Luberon is covered by oak trees, maple trees cedar and other natural essences. The fauna is particularly present in this protected area.

This nature region, protected for many years allows us to propose you really diverse landscapes as the "Colorado provencal", lavender fields, or trails along Nesque Gorge.

 

Spring and Autumn are especially good seasons to visit the region.
